The restaurant itself is so cute with a really nice and open ambiance. There is outdoor seating and I believe an open roofed bar out there as well.
I was there for a business meeting so we sat inside and it was also very nice. The service was great, very attentive and the food was amazing. I had the risotto and it was great. The small portion was perfect for me. I would definitely return. -

I had dinner here on a cool autumn eve and it was quite nice. The atmosphere is fun, the place is spotless. I had a nice view of the wood fire oven. The warm bread was absolutely delicious. Katie was very sweet and attentive.
I ordered the linguini del mar and it did not disappoint. Plenty of seafood and you could tell the sauce and pasta were made from scratch. I ordered the smaller portion ($21.95) because some of the reviews commented on the huge portions. It wasn't that huge after all and didn't quite fill me up which was disappointing for an entree of that price. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
My only minor complaint is that the soap in the men's room was so fragrant I felt like I had washed my hands in my grandfathers cologne. The whole meal I smelled the soap quite strongly to the point where it affected my enjoyment of the food and gave me a small headache. But apart from that I highly recommend checking out Ciao Bella! -

Ciao Bella seems to be a pretty strong staple in Minneapolis area.
We visit about four times a year for work, and while I've only now been twice, this is always the place that everybody wants to go!
The food is certainly indulgent and the portions will NEVER leave you hungry. The restaurant itself is very upscale inside and seems to be huge. I can't imagine that they could ever fill up that many seats, but I'm sure that they do!
It's almost a sin not to get a pasta, but the meat dishes look great as well and the wine offerings are many. Great staff and service. The only complaint would be feeling SO full at the end that you can't really continue on with your day-to-day duties. Many people would think it's crazy to complain about portion sizes, but they are a lot to handle. Even at lunch time!
Overall, my experience here was great. -

Feels very upscale when you walk in - I had the sense before I even sat down that this was going to be good. Our waitress was extremely friendly and did an awesome job! We'd mentioned we only had an hour and she got things fired and served so fast we were shocked.
Really enjoyed the bread - came out warm and fresh. The lasagna was quite good as well - a nice balanced blend of sauce, cheese, and pasta. They have a legit espresso machine and made me a pretty good cappuccino - definitely above what I can usually get in a restaurant that isn't a dedicated coffeehouse. -

The food here is AMAZING. I got the red scallop pasta and it was to die for. The lunch size portions are just right. Our waitress was also very attentive and sweet. It's a little pricey for the portion size, but your paying for atmosphere too. Overall great experience, and we will be returning.
